Setting up Manager through Staging

You can connect a device to Manager as part of a Staging script.

Note

We recommend to use a Staging Install-command to update/install the latest version of the Manager before starting to use the Manager app.
If you are setting up Manager through, make sure to run this Install-command before adding the setup command.

  1. Add a new Intent command
  2. As the Intent Type select Action
  3. As the Intent value enter com.handheldgroup.manager.SETUP
  4. Click Add extra, set the Type to String, set the Key to account and enter your account ID as Value (in the format 000-000-000)
  5. Click Add extra, set the Type to String, set the Key to password and enter your account password as Value
  6. (Optional) Click Add extra, set the Type to String, set the Key to name and enter any name as Value. This value will show up in the device list
  7. (Optional) Click Add extra, set the Type to String, set the Key to location and enter any name as Value. This value will show up in the device list
  8. Click Save to save the command
